I have a quest on hoe to access root or unlock root password in Ubunto 11.04.

it's pretty easy to unlock root mode in ubuntu
Open Terminal/shell
Then, Type the command sudo passwd root
then you will be prompted for “Enter the New Unix Password” Twice
reply if done
